Our open bridge policy

Because the ship’s bridge provides a superior location from which to view wildlife and the extraordinary vistas with 360° viewing, we are pleased to offer our open-bridge policy and the Captain and his Officers welcome your presence as they go about the business of navigating the ship.  They request that you refrain from bringing any food or drink items to the bridge and respect that this is a work environment. We therefore ask you to speak quietly and not touch any navigational equipment, charts or papers.  There may be times that the bridge is closed to passengers, generally for reasons of safety during rough weather or when the ship is in port.  Please check with the Officer on watch if you need confirmation as to whether the bridge is open.
