Witness wildlife and their young in varied stages of their cycle as they prepare for the oncoming winter in a Polar landscape softened by the relative warmth of the summer months. It is a particularly good time of year for whale encounters. Our route takes us to the Antarctic Peninsula and South Shetland Islands, then on to the remote South Orkney archipelago, before heading to South Georgia, the Falkland Islands and back to Ushuaia. The sights and tales of history, wildlife activity, spectacular scenery and the stunning Antarctic environment have a significant impact on all who visit.
